Yesterday was an amazing day! Fifteen stampers attended my Sale-A-Bration Open House. The group was full of energy and enthusiasm! Nothing can compare to being in a room full of people who share your passion for creativity.
One room was set up for make and takes. Everyone got their hands on Sale-A-Bration products while making a card and a cute little purse filled with chocolate. The purse was created using two die cuts of the Scallop Envelope BIGZ Die for the Big Shot. I will be sharing this technique in an upcoming post, so stay tuned.
While some stampers were busy with make and takes, I was in another room demonstrating new products and techniques. Here is a run-down of what I covered:
- Sizzix Texturz Plates for the Big Shot
- Bag with Scallops BIGZ XL Die
- "Two Hole Bow"
- Movers and Shapers Die
- Scrapbooking with Die Cut Stencils
- Embosslits
Here is a sample I created to showcase the Texturz Plates.
I love using the Texturz Plates to emboss cardstock then running it through the Big Shot again with a die! This card features Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, Chocoloate Chip, and Whisper White cardstocks. I used Chocolate Chip Classic Ink for the stamped image. A simple knot made with Kiwi Kiss satin ribbon finishes it off nicely.
If you were not able to make the Open House, don't worry! I will be hosting another event very soon! I will be posting pictures of the projects for the March 13th class in the next day or so... you won't want to miss this one!
Happy Stamping!
Wendy
