It's hard to believe that Halloween has come and gone. Before I move on to sharing my Fall creations, I wanted to share one last Halloween one!
The basket is filled with little goodie bags I put together for my son's preschool class. Each bag had a spooky spider or skull ring, some candy treats and these Pumpkin and Ghost stick puppets made with the Big Shot:
These went together super fast and were quick and easy. I just layered two die cuts together with a 6" wodden dowel in between. I stuck it all together using Tombow Multipurpose adhesive. I used clothespins to hold it all together until the glue dried. A mini glue dot held the bows in place and voila! Puppets for fun Halloween songs and plays!
I was inspired by one of the other winners of Shelli's Creative Challenge to turn a wooden craft birdhouse into a haunted house.
I covered the wooden birdhouse in Halloween Paper and Going Grey Cardstock using an Anywhere Glue Stick. I used black acrylic paint for the porch and chimney. Polka dots were added in green acrylic paint using the end of a paint brush. Finally, I used a sponge dauber to add Going Grey Classic Ink to the edges of the project to add dimension and an aged-spooky look. I can't wait to make some more of these for next Halloween... I'm picturing an entire Spooky Town!
On another note, I am addicted to Black Spray paint right now. The flowers in the vase were a fall arrangement that I spray painted black for Halloween. I love how they came out! I also did the same with a wreath for my front door... stay tuned to see more of my spray-painted objects!
I hope you had a happy, fun and safe Halloween. Thanks for stopping by! Leave a comment to let me know what you think or if you have any questions about these or any of the other projects shown here.
Happy Stamping!
Wendy
